Above: Canadian nickel dollar, 1970 ( Manitoba Commemorative) counterstamped "G.A.N. / 1918-70" in oval on obverse. Commemorates the death of Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1970. 1000 such overstruck coins were released in the Toronto area by the Arab League of Canada .
